7 lovely things you can do for your baby during the first trimester⠀⠀
.⠀⠀
🤰 Take a prenatal vitamin. Folic Acid and Vitamin D are great for keeping your baby strong and healthy!⠀⠀
🤰 Breathe - pregnancy can be stressful. There is so much to think about/worry about and plan. So take a deep breath and write a to do list. If you feel completely overwhelmed then drop me a DM and we can have a free 15 min consult to see if I can help you.⠀⠀
🤰 Try and do a little bit of exercise. Exercise can actually help ease morning sickness, give you more energy and help you sleep better. All of which will be good for your baby too! ⠀⠀
🤰 start writing a pregnancy diary. It will be a lovely thing for you and your baby to look back on in the future.⠀⠀
🤰 Find a mummy tribe. Look into pregnancy yoga classes or connect with friends who are also pregnant. Being with another mummy in the same situation as you will make you feel like you have your own little wing woman!⠀⠀
🤰 Know that everything will pass - all those horrible little pregnancy symptoms wont last forever so whenever you are feeling stressed, remind yourself of this.⠀⠀
🤰 rest as much as you can. Lack of sleep can lead to anxiety and depression, gestational diabetes and high blood pressure. None of which are great for your baby. So try and get as many early nights as you can.⠀⠀
🤰 See your doctor or midwife. Consistent prenatal care is really important so make sure you book in that first appointment and make a note of when the next ones are. Write down anything you are worried about so you make sure you have all of the questions ready to ask. ⠀⠀
