👍 it’s an amazing reward halfway though your pregnancy (especially if you’ve had a hard pregnancy!)⠀⠀
👍You can start really developing a bond with your baby⠀⠀
👍You only have to agree on one baby name!⠀⠀
👍if it’s your second baby, it might make it easier for your toddler to bond with the bump if they know it’s their sister/brother!⠀⠀
👍 You can decorate your nursery with gender specific decor if you want to!⠀⠀
👍it’s easier for friends and family to buy baby gifts!⠀⠀

👎🏻 It can be an incredibly rewarding surprise after going through labour to find out the sex⠀⠀
👎🏻 for some people, the sex of the baby shouldn’t matter. The fact you baby is well and healthy is all that matters⠀⠀
👎🏻 sometimes scans don’t confirm the gender if your baby is sitting awkwardly so you might get your hopes up only to find you leave the scanning room none the wiser⠀⠀
